I go to a community college and I am a general science major. I’m applying to a nursing program there at my school to receive an associates in nursing. As a back-up plan, If I was not able to get into that program, I was thinking about receiving the associates in general science, transfer over to receive a Bachelors in Nursing or major in medical technology/science course. Do I have to get an associates in nursing to receive a Bachelors in Nursing? Or can I receive my associates in general science, transfer over and receive a Bachelors in Nursing that way? Any ideas?
Can I receive my associates degree in general science and still continue to get my bachelor's in nur
Four year schools generally care if you have taken the specific prerequisite courses to be able to take the upper level courses for your major after transfer. So you need to check on the four year schools of interest to see what courses they want to see you take before transfer.
