can i self study world history sat 2 in just over 2 weeks?

so i have ap exams atm, which finish on 20 May. I’m gonna be taking the Bio sat (which i think im pretty comfortable with, just need revision and practise ques) and the world history sat in June 6. (i dont want to do any sats in december november, as i have my A levels, my main qualification- school transcript and GPA ><)

However, I have not taken world history before. I’ve done ap us gov and am doing A level European History.

I’m a quick reader and usually can absorb info quickly. I have the barrons sat world history book, and have read like 60 pages, but will be only focusing on that after my aps. so i will basically have just over 2 weeks to learn the subject test.

For anyone who has done/is doing sat world, do you think this plan is feasible? is the test too detailed? Id want to be aiming for a 780+. Also, how much do you think i should study, hr wise?

thanks guys

anyone? :’(

Why are you taking the World History SAT II? I think if you finished reading Barron’s you should be fine, but world history is one of the hardest to self-study for because there’s so much content you need to know. I would recommend it only if you have very good memory and are very dedicated. There are other subject tests that might be easier to self study.

@rdeng2614 thanks for your reply! It’s because I am an international student, and the majority of internationals take phys, chem and math2, so its difficult to stand out with those SATs, and also because I am not looking to study science/math at uni. I am planning on taking Literature and US history in Oct.
also, for the world history test, as there is much content, how much time do you reckon i should dedicate to the test?

I think you should start now. Just do a little bit every day because cramming is basically useless for World History.

Please recommend the books for this upcoming sat 2world history test.
