Long story short, after many set backs in my high school years I am about to get my high school diploma, and I would now like to further my education. I know it would have to depend on which community college I go to, but generally can I start my first year of community college in the second semester? If so, what challenges will I be faced with? Thank you.
Yes, you can. No particular challenges. People do it all the time. Do make sure you seek out the counseling/registration office now, so that you are sure to have all the forms ready to go. Registration will probably begin for second semester earlier than you realize.
Yes, without a doubt.I started in the second semester too. The only thing is that if you finish in exactly 2 years, that will land you in the spring semester to transfer. The only bad thing about this is that some schools don’t accept transfers for the spring semester.
If you aren’t planning on transferring then it shouldn’t be any kind of problem.
Yes! My daughter just started the second half of the semester. It was no problem at all. She was going to wait but the advisor told her to just jump in and start. Here registration for second semester started almost two weeks ago so if you are going to do it be aware of that!
