can i still get in?

i'm applying EA. i sent my SAT2s scores at the end of october but a couple of weeks ago someone from admissions emailed me and said they hadn't recieved my scores. i called college board who confirmed that they had sent them and when i called harvard and told them this they said it was fine as long as they were on there way. well now it's 4 days to decisions and the harvard page says they still haven't recieved my official scores. can they accept me without these scores or is the best i can hope for being deferred? thanks.

dude that sucks, they made their decision on the 9th, it's too late. Expect a deferral :(

Is it by any chance a Math SAT II? If so, I was told by someone who answered the phone at the admissions office that the website frequently reports that they don't have your Math SAT IIs even when they actually have them there on hand.

how do you know they finished making decisions on the 9th?

yay Harvard incorrectly left the name of the Math 2 test as MATHEMATICS LEVEL 2C when the collegeboard changed it to Mathematics Level 2. i WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING AND I CALLED AND THEY SAID ITS FINE.

one of them was math 2 but the other too obivously weren't. the person on the phone said "as long as they're on their way that's fine." obviously harvard can do w/e they want, and i will call tommorow too see what is really the case, but isn't it their duty to tell me if they never got my scores?

It would probably make sense to have your GC contact your regional rep and FAX him/her the school's copy of your scores asap. You might want to do this yourself with email and a fax if all else fails. Good luck!
