I have to turn in my Common App supplements by the 1st. One of my teachers still has not turned in her recommendation online, even though I asked her before Thanksgiving and reminded her before school ended. I sent her another e-mail today. I am worried that once I submit the Common App to these schools, she won't be able to turn in her part, even if she does miraculously finish it by tomorrow. So, a few questions: 1. Am I screwed? 2. Can she still submit her part online even after I turn the Common App in? 3. Will colleges accept a snail-mail recommendation from her? 4. Is it okay if her part is a few days late? The soonest I can reach her in person is in school on the 4th. THANK YOU to whomever responds.

If what I’ve been told is correct, since teacher recs are out of your control after a certain point, many colleges tend to be more lenient concerning their submission by the deadline. Again, that’s if what I’ve been told is correct.
