<p>I've applied to like ten schools, and one of my teachers still hasn't "started" the recommendation according to the school forms section of the common app. I've already submitted everything, and emailed this teacher and resent the notification to remind her. However, she clearly hasn't checked her email throughout the holiday as indicated by having not started the evaluation. Will the schools lock the submission of supplemental material after the deadline, or can she she still submit the recommendation by Monday, which is when I see her.</p>

<p>My sister is having the same problem. Most schools have a teacher’s inservice, so perhaps she will check her email then, and maybe even complete it. However, you should speak with her on Monday. Just simply say that you appreciate her willingness to write you a college recommendation, and you were wondering if there was anything that she needs help with. This simple reminder may make her remember, considering she may have not checked her email like you said. Yet, if she still hasn’t submitted it by, say Wednesday, then you should speak with her again, saying when the application is due.</p>
<p>thanks for the response! however, the problem has been resolved. I actually had to call her household and meekly remind her of the deadline and it has been submitted. I’m just hoping she didn’t fill it out in too much haste</p>
