I want to send my applications for two of my colleges this weekend. However, I'm not going to be able to send my letters of recommendation and transcript for at least a week because I need to wait for my counselor to finish his letter. Would it be okay to submit the applications this far before everything else? The two schools are Pitt (which has rolling admission) and Drexel (which had regular admission), if that helps at all. Thanks!

Yes you may send in the applications now. Transcript & LOR can go later, but before the deadlines.

Okay, and they aren’t going to notify me that “my application isn’t complete”, or something like that?

No, it’s virtually impossible to have everything arrive simultaneously. Colleges just collect pieces and assess your application when it is complete. For example, D1 sent her SAT scores to some schools in winter of jr year and they were still there when her application arrived the following fall.

Most schools will let you check your status online.

I also sent my SAT scores a little while ago, I was just wondering if the application is special. Thank you both for the replies!
