Can I switch majors? =(

<p>I got into my second choice major to UCLA which was Geography/Environmental Studies. my first choice was Electrical engineering, I have no idea why I picked environmental studies as my alternate LOL, maybe it looked interesting at the time ….sigh
but now I think I really need to switch into a different major, cuz I don’t even know what environmental studies is …..hahah. I was told switching into a major within the same college is easy (College of Letters and Science), but it would be impossible to switch to a engineering major? </p>

<p>And can we really just switch during orientation? this is what the online acceptance letter said:

<p>its not impossible but its hard to switch to the engineering school</p>

<p>but if you put down ee as your first major and got denied, i don't know why they would switch you in when you were denied it in the first place</p>

<p>you're banned from CC if you try to change majors. its a sacrifice ull have to make.</p>

<p>^Easy. Clear it with a counselor/department, and just take the classes for those prereqs.</p>
