Can I transfer to MSU with a 2.1 or 2.5 gpa?

I have a 2.1 gpa at Saginaw valley university, which is not as good as i would want it looks, it consists of mostly B's with C's and a few A-'s and two D's in classes that I should have done better in (math). Please give my any thoughts you may have. I have 46 credits.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but honestly I’d say no. The average GPA for transfer students hovers around a 3.0-3.5. Anyone with a 2.5 or below I would say has little to no chance of getting in. You can always apply but it is really a long shot…

I would hope they’d say no. Sorry. I would recommend working harder at SVSU to improve your GPA.

I agree with the above posts. Sorry, but no. They say that a “2.0” is minimum, but you need to get at least a 3.0-3.3.

do you guys think I can get in with a 3.2?

I just got in!
