I came here 3years ago.

And I'm an international student. I came here 3years ago.[when I was in 10th gade]

I will try Math for major.

please give me a great advise..................

it's tough to get a good verbal score as an international student. but you still have to get a higher score if you want a chance.....so, work as hard as you can on your sat verbal~~

he sounds good at math, they will understand about the English. Maybe write an essay about coming here and what it was like adapting to our culture. Did you speak English before you came here? If not, then you have made great progress. Take the TOFLE or whatever that test is.

focus on you've only been in an english speaking country for 3 years. I have been for 5 and my scores are still like yours. But then again if you think about, it balances out doesn't it?
I got 2 math comp. awards too. But here is what i think the adcom might say:
"hm. this kid is very good at math, maybe it's b/c the system the country where he/she came from used. Therefore, it's usual for him/her to get awardsin america. Now we look at the english scores. They are a bit below average, but that's b/c he just came to the country. This is tough, Ecs are alright, but no sport. Manager of vasity team but no on the team. However, getting a 510 shows the student tries hard. And korean writing award, the person is still practicing korean, so i think he would be an asset to our school. Oh plus working at the university. He definitely deserves a spot at Dartmouth. "ADMIT""
i hope that's what the adcom says.
if that's how they thikn, then we both got a chance :)
