can international transfer students get scholarship or financial aid?

if so, is the chance really really low???

Some schools do have scholarships for international students, but i don't think international students can get any kind of financial aid grants as American students. From what I know, scholarships for international students are very hard to get because they are designed for the most brilliant students who are internationally recognized by their academic achievement. The source of scholarships that you should seek is the ones in your country. A lot of international students get their financial aid from the government or the institution that they come from. Good luck.

I'm stuck in the same boat... Unless you get lucky, which you might, you will have to settle for a school that would be a relative safety for a US citizen with your qualifications. That's true only if you ask for fin aid... if you don't, then you stand a much better chance.

A school will tell you from the start if it will give you financial aid or not. However, there are some scholarships within the school they offer, some are open to internationals and some arent. From a thrid party, you might want to look into the PTK scholarships for transfer students, again some are open and some arent to internationals. The most important thing is you do have to be outstanding to apply to the scholarships because a lot of others will be applying. I’m also an international too but was lucky enough to grab some money from PTK and i’ll be applying for some scholarships for next year, which if I get i’ll have a full ride. So keep you hopes up!
