Can one bad grade on my transcript ruin my chances of getting me?

I got a D in honors Algebra 2 first semester sophomore year :( I cried and was depressed for a month/

I had
AP Art History
AP Euro
English, Spanish 2, Chemistry, and Algebra 2 (all of them honors)
and got all A's and an A- in euro and art history.

I switched to regular algebra 2 and have a solid A so I can get straight A's this semester(:

my GPA was 4.3 and like 3.679I'm not sure about that one)

I also have many extracurriculars and am VP of three clubs, am in tennis and swim, and hundreds of hours of community service along with a business internship.

PLEASE tell me if this is going to ruin my future. thanks so much!

well u can still go to usc…

@celsius: If you’re not going to contribute anything, don’t post.

@TC: Basically what LH said. You still have a pretty strong chance with that GPA, though the UCS might be a tad less sympathetic than most, since they already disregard the two years during which that kind of thing is expected to happen.

Repeat the class and Berkeley (and all UCs) will toss the D like it never happened.

I’m planning on retaking it online and taking regular precalc over the summer
would that be ok?
