Can Scholarships be Rescinded?

Would NYU rescind a scholarship or admission for these final grades?

GPA at the time of submission: 3.85uw

2nd Semester Senior Grades:

English A
Spanish B
Theory of Knowledge A
PE A
Math C
Biology A
History A

I'm REALLY worried about the C. I've never gotten one before, but I am most likely going to get one in math

no. C is average grade. not bad.

C's aren't actually an average grade. The average GPA at most high schools is well above a 2.0.
Back to the original question, I really doubt one C will lead to a scholarship being rescinded. You still picked up 5 A's for the semester after all, it's not like you slacked.

Pick it up as much as you can. One C won't probably do it, but err on the side of caution; I'm from California and most of the states schools (UC system like Cal, UCLSA, UC David) here will recind your acceptance if you get a C your senior year!

That's really really harsh if you ask me (the UC system thing).

I'm just worried because I did slack. I could have gotten at least a B if not an A if I would have done all of my homework.

And actually, there's a definite possibility for a B in bio... so the grades are more like:

English A
Spanish B
ToK A
PE A
Math C
Biology B
History A

Does this make any difference?

Read the terms of your scholarship.

If your scholarship is merit money because you had a certain GPA and you no longer have that certain GPA yes, NYU can pul back their money if you no longer meet the criteria (remember that the school will get a copy of your final transcript) so work on pulling up those grades for june.

bump...............
