Can senior year HELP?

Im a junior right now. I live in central PA. My grades freshman and sophomore year were bad (3.2 GPA)

Ive gotten it to about a 3.4 just in the first semester of this year. Im hoping to graduate with a 3.6 or optimistically a 3.7

I always hear people being told not to slack in their senior year, but I actually need my senior year to help. Is it possible to apply in the fall then somehow apply again in the spring to show (more) improvement? Or will I have to take a gap year?

I'm looking to get into a school like Penn State Main Campus, Drexel, or Temple

As a fall back Id probably do Penn State's 2+2 program (If I dont get into Temple either). But Id like to make it into University Park as a freshman if possible.

I have above average SATs (1940) and am going to try and improve that even farther.

I have a job but otherwise my ECs are weak (but existent) I also have a few honors classes and am taking an AP next year.

Any Advice?

Most schools do ask for a mid year report, so they would see any improvement you made over the first semester of senior year.

I would just recommend not apply Early Action if you’re relying on senior year improvements.
