Please let me know the average routine for a college student. How they sleep eat? Free time? How they get around campus; by car or bus? Someone please help me to understand. And how the roomate situation works

Sleep as little or as much as you wish depends on your class schedule and whether you want to attend classes
Free time- as much as you wish, studying optional
Get around- walk, shuttles, bike, long board
Roommate- school will match or your choice/request when you apply for housing after you have been accepted

I have a hard time sleep eating

I’m lucky enough to have a cafeteria in my dorm hall. Sleep eating is pretty easy for me

The best part of college is that you can arrange your classes so that you don 't have classes 1 or 2 days a week ! You still have to get the work done .

There are also so many variables depending on where you go to school. If you were less vague you might get better information, OP.

what is the best way to arrange your classes?

^ That depends. Would you rather wake up early and get your classes over with? Or would you rather sleep in and finish classes later in the day. You can also spread them out if you want long breaks in between.

well for those who have been in college what has worked for you. How early is early? Also do you do like Tue - Thrus classes or what?

I have a better question… can you guys describe your typical weekday in college? Obviously everyone is different, but hearing a few samples would be nice :)

Typical weekday (for Fall and Spring - the most hectic):
7:30-8: Wake up
9-12: Class (I like it early in the day)
12-1: Nap
1-3: Studying with breaks in between
4-6: Break/club meetings
6-10: Studying

I had a minifridge in my room, so sleep eating wasn’t a problem.

Everyday in college is different, so I can’t put an average day. For the first semester, I had to get up at five and commute in rush hour traffic. Second semester, I would get up a half hour before classes started and take the bus, or wake up earlier and hike.

You handle free time however you want (mostly the same as you do in highschool).

There really isn’t a “typical day” apart from the basics. Here’s how it’s been for me this past year, I commuted:

6:30AM (5:50AM for certain days for about a month at one point) - Wake up
Be out of the house by around 7:20 (8:40 on days when I didn’t have an 8AM (and like 6:20 for that one month))
Get to school by 8 or 9:30.
Class
Lunch
Class sometimes
Go home and do homework and whatnot, and plenty of procrastination
Go back to school if my club had a meeting
Get home, waste time, sleep

Wasn’t too easy!

e: To answer your questions though, despite it being a pain to get up early for 8AM classes I only found them difficult when I didn’t get enough sleep. It was kinda funny to hear people who lived on campus ***** about having to be there… like, shaddap, you could wake up at 7:50 if you really wanted to push it. I prefer getting my classes out of the way by 3PM. Gives me plenty of time in the afternoon and evening to get stuff done. The shorter the breaks in between, the better. Even next semester, though I’ll be living on-campus, I still wouldn’t mind an early schedule. Luckily my Mondays will only have one class… at 2PM.

Typical day (weekends I don’t have class obviously):

9:30-10:30 - wake up, shower, get ready
11-12:30 - class
12:30-1:30 - lunch
1:30-2:30 - class
2:30-5 - mess around in the dorm, maybe homework
5-6 - dinner
6-10 - mess around/study
10-whenever - start pregaming and eventually go out, or just drink with friends, or just hang around, watch movies, etc.
Usually sleep around 3 or so
