A lot of people that I talk to say that I should look into Emory but I honestly don't know that much about it. Could someone give me a brief description of the school? i.e. academic quality, location, campus quality, average type of student, etc.

It is probably the most underrated school in the top 25 of the US News rankings. It keeps getting harder and harder to get in every year, because people realize how great the school is. The professors are among the best. The campus is absolutely perfect in every aspect. They have billions of dollars - literally - in endowment, so there's never going to be a problem with the budget. There always seems to be some type of new construction or renovation going on there, so you know you'll have top notch facilities. You will not find a better education. Go on the website emory.edu and click to emory college (the 4 year undergrad) and take a tour and looks at pics and all that. I can't think of anything else you could want from a college. Except for maybe D1 football/basketball. But Ga Tech and UGA are pretty much right around the corner.

absolutely agree with doggra, perfect campus, abundant resources, plus atlanta is such a great college city. You have your famed clubs in atl and then you have the bar scene in the highlands and buckhead. So much to do. My only complaint would be is that there is minority of snobby rich kids at the school who only hang out with themselves. But for the most part, people are very friendly and outgoing.
