hi i think my grades are decent enough to have a good chance at most top 25 uni's
(excluding HPY stanford and Wharton). I am looking for a business school preferably in the south nothing north of Pennsylvania that will get me a decent job in the south. I don't want to work on wall street or be some big ceo i just want a nice job with a 6 figure mid career salary in the south. Which colleges would help me achieve this I was looking at UF (im from Florida) , Uva, Washington and Lee, Richmond and Carnegie Mellon any other schools you would recommend? Also I'm not sure of a major yet but I'm thinking either accounting and finance or economics but im not too educated about majors either :). Thank you so much in advance for your time

I think that this list should suffice.

What are your grades and test scores?

how much will your parents pay for your college costs?

Do you qualify for Bright Futures to use at Florida schools?

Have you looked into accounting and finance as majors? If not, try to do so

I’m top 5% of my class with a 3.75 unweighted 2180 sat
Placed at state and national math competitions placed at deca competitions 250 service hours. Quality for bright futures.my parents aren’t paying for anything so I don’t really care about money I’m going to be in debt no matter what I want to go to the school that will give me the most money

FYI, business week is not what most people use, as you can tell by the random business schools that are highly ranked in that list for no apparent reason.

Here is the US News ranking of the top undergraduate business schools. Nothing out of the ordinary with the usual cast of top schools ranked highly:

UVA, UNC and UT are the highest ranked southern schools on the list, which is what you would expect.

*my parents aren’t paying for anything so I don’t really care about money I’m going to be in debt no matter what I want to go to the school that will give me the most money *

First of all, you may not know this but YOU can’t borrow that much. You are limited to the following amounts…

frosh 5500
soph 6500
jr 7500
sr 7500

to borrow more than that (not a good idea) would require your parents to qualify and co-sign. If your parents aren’t helping you, then they probably won’t co-sign (most parents won’t co-sign).

You do need to “care about money.” Kids who don’t “care about money” find themselves with acceptances that they can’t afford because THEY can’t borrow much.

So, you have to have a strategy based on your situation. If your parents are low income, then you might qualify for some aid at some schools. Is your family low income?

If your parents have a good income, but can’t contribute, then you need to target schools that will give you big merit.

What was your PSAT?

UVa, UT, Berkeley

Somebody just ranked Wake Forest #1 for UG. Bloomberg, maybe???

^Lol, really? Some of these ranking systems are horrible.
