Can someone help me?????????

Hey guys i gotta problem so help me out if you are aware of intl transfers plz.............

I am from India.I am planning on taking the SAT in October this year so here's my query------
I have entered my second year in B.tech this year in august..... i want to transfer from the third year onwards........but the process of applying for fall 2007 starts from december 2006.......by december i will have the marksheets for my first and second semisters only as my third and fourth semister exams are in january and june 2007......so does that mean that while applying for fall 2007 my 3rd and 4th sem results will not be considered?????? What is the procedure for this?????

Also are intl transfers very rare in US colgs?????and that too with financial aid. My freshmen year's marks are average (not extraordinary) but ive been scoring around 2050-2150 in practice SATs.........so what do i do to increase my chances....... or is it worth applying at all for transfer for intls???
Plz help me guys!!!!
Thanks

Those marks will be considered but you just have to mail them to the school as soon as you get them. Talk to the specific schools though that you are interested in and ask for their input.

As for finaid....i wouldn't bank on it. There are some schools that offer it to internationals....even fewer who offer it to international transfers....and usually it's only big schools (like harvard, yale) that offer the fin.aid you would need.

thanks megtfs.......
I was planning on applying to Embry riddle, Earlham,UTexas Austin, Texas A&M, Boston university etc.......because honestly i feel i dont have much chances at the biggies...........
I will mail the schools and ask them to consider my marks as and when i get them..........if you know anything about transferring to these schools do let me know
Tx

As for Boston University, Uni of Texas Austin and Texas A&M, I pretty sure they don't offer aid for international transfer students. If there is anyone out there who has received aid, sound out!

As for the Uni of Texas Austin, they do not not offer aid because they are a public institution. No grant aid is available for international students because the money comes from the federal government. Check out smaller private Liberal Arts Colleges. They are usually the most generous with international students.

Grinnell offers intl. transfer aid and shouldn't be too hard to get into
