Can Someone Please Breakdown The Freshman Housing Situation For Me Pleeasee!

im choosing my dorms..and i know i dont want an apt style becuase those are too expensive for me..so im sticking with traditional..but im also a little confused as to what "low-cost" housing means..is dorm life worse?.. i'd relaly like that explained to me.

also, if someone could briefly break down the pro's and con's of each frosh dorm that would be amazing..please help me out someone!

There are a whole bunch of threads on this.

Low cost is a triple-- you share a room with two people instead of a single roommate. As far as I know, that is the only difference.

Do a search (even go back a page on the board) to find information about dorms. The Washington Square News also posted a good summary of the residences:

Keep in mind that the freshman residences are limited to Goddard, Hayden, Brittany, Rubin, Weinstein, UHall and Third Ave North.
