Can teachers fill out recs online and submit electronically?

Does any know if HS teachers can fill out recommendations online and submit electronically?

Let's answer for colleges that require teacher recs and ....

colleges that take the COMMON APP

and

colleges that do not take the COMMON APP

Ummm I dunno. Traditionally it's paper, isn't it?

I know my D had a couple of schools last year that provided that option.

uop has separate links so teachers can submit their recs online.

Senluck, what is uop ?

I am speaking specifically of colleges that take the common app. If you look at what makes up the 'common app', you will see two pages entitled 'Teachers Recommendations'. Can THESE pages, somehow, be submitted to www.commonapp.com , or whatever it is called, by the teacher?

I read somewhere that some schools hae online access to the school forms. I'll look for a source.,,or you can...

edit; from their site under instructions for school forms; note last two lines..

"School Forms
There are a variety of school forms that need to be completed by your counselor/school official and reference forms that need to be completed by your teachers/instructors. These are outlined in the 'School Forms' section. If you have elected to create multiple versions of your Common App, you should print out school forms intended for a particular college only when you are logged in to the version of the application intended for that particular college. Otherwise, the wrong ID will appear on the bottom of the school forms page, which may cause confusion for your colleges.

Some first-year applicants will be able to have these forms submitted online, depending on what high school you attend(ed). "
