I received from the University of Alabama their UA Scholar Scholarship, which is 19K a year. On the letter it said all scholarships cannot exceed the total cost of attendance, understandably. However, on a letter with an Engineering Scholarship I got, it said that if I made National Merit Finalist in February, that the Engineering one would NOT STACK with the NMF package. Will the UA Scholar Scholarship stack with the National Merit Finalist Package (since the former does not pay for EVERYTHING - meals, housing, etc., which are all included in “cost of attendance”)?
The NMF package would replace the UA Scholar. They don’t stack.
So the engineering scholarship of $2500 stacks with everything except NMF? I’m asking specifically for the presidential elite.
@chattachia I think that’s correct. The engineering scholarship will stack with any of the merit scholarships, but no longer with the NMF package.
