can u guys help me ? TAG.....

I attended the TAG workshop in my college today .But the guest speaker(from UCSB) told us that if we want to apply for the ATG ,we should finished all the English classes by the end of fall , is that true??

yeah i think you have to finish your transferable english class and transferable math class by the end of this fall. Im going to my workshop next monday, so what do you guys do and why is 2 hours long?

“Complete the first UC Transferable English course with a C grade or better by the end of Summer 2010 for Fall 2011 admission; second course must be completed by Spring 2011.”

by the end of summer??? not fall???

He talked about his univ. (UCSB) for one hour… and then told us how to apply for TAG and how to use assist.org…

it depends on the school, but yeah for UCSB’s TAG, you need to complete the required English courses by the end of Fall 2010.

http://www.admissions.ucsb.edu/pdf/UCSB%20Fall%202011-12%20TAG.pdf</a></p>

I believe all the schools require you to complete the English courses and one math course by end of Fall 2010.

Not what I was told. ^^^

But I guess we’ll find out when TAGs get rejected/denied.

how do they reject or approve us?

Straight from the TAG app:

UCSD
I will complete two UC-transferable English composition courses (designated as UC-E) and one UC-transferable mathematics course (designated as UC-M) with grades of C (2.0) or higher by the end of the fall 2010 term.

UCSB
I will complete two UC-transferable English composition courses (designated as UC-E) and one UC-transferable mathematics course (designated as UC-M) with grades of C (2.0) or higher by the end of the fall 2010 term.

UCI
I have completed one UC-transferable mathematics course with a grade of C (2.0) or higher by the end of the summer 2010 term.
* I have completed one UC-transferable English composition course with a grade of C (2.0) or higher by the end of the summer 2010 term.
* I will complete a second UC-transferable English composition course with a grade of C (2.0) or higher by the end of the spring 2011 term.

So UCI is a bit different, as you have until spring 2011 (next) semester to complete the second English.
