Would they accept that? because I submitted mine like a month ago.

No. The FAFSA for 2010-2011 school year is not even available to file until January 1st. If you filed it a month ago you filed the 2009-2010 FAFSA which is for the current school year. If you are starting school in fall 2010 then the 2009-2010 FAFSA will not be counted as having applied for financial aid and will not count as having met any deadlines for your school or state. A school cannot use the 2009-2010 FAFSA to award aid for the 2010-2011 school year. You will have to file the 2010-2011 FAFSA, using 2009 income information, in time for your deadlines.

oh, thank you very much. Is it possible to cancel what I have done, and start over again?

No need to cancel it, it will be disregarded as you are not enrolled in college for the 2009-2010 school year. Just file the correct one once it is available. Assuming the process is the same as last year, once you start the new FAFSA it will see that you have previously completed a FAFSA so will give you the option of populating the new FAFSA with personal (not financial) data from the previous FAFSA, so that will save a little time.

Thank you that was quick. Just the reply I needed.
