HELP?!

Do you know what you’d like to major in?

The University of Alabama [The University of Alabama](<a href=“Page Not Found | The University of Alabama”>http://www.ua.edu/)

Great football  Great academics…Gorgeous campus. Awesome dorms!!

You have some good choices–although Michigan is a reach.
But what do you want other than football team? Pitt is fine urban school with good football; Kansas is much more rural, and so on. Your picks have every kind of environment; location; region; etc–does none of it matter?

Not really, i enjoy country but i enjoy urban too. Im used to it all I live in DC and a rural part of Maryland. and im used to being far away (Lived in Italy) and such i just want something different then where im from, and such my parents don’t really have any restrictions on where i can go and such. Im more so a cold weather person but i do like hot weather and i liked Alabama & Auburn and such… haha sorry for the story book
Yeah Michigan is a Massive stretch but i feel like if i dont try ill regret it ya know?

OH if it helps i wanna major in something like Poli Sci, International Relations/Affairs, global studies etc… along those lines & Spanish.

Do you think I have any chances?

and to mom2collegekids- I loved Alabama i just don’t know how id do in the hot weather, without ice skating and snow. haha but i liked the campus!

and Erin’s dad, ill edit, haha sorry!

American U is great in those areas and your stats fit, but it doesn’t have the football vibe like the other schools you are considering.

Amanda…

Well, it’s not hot most of the school year  …lots of days of moderate temps with pretty blue skies and fluffy white clouds. But, if you have a yearning for some mountains and snow, you can spend a weekend in Tenn - not too far away - the Smokies are beautiful!! skiing there, too.

Look at it this way…on a campus with moderate temps, you won’t have to be trekking across a college-sized campus in freezing temps throughout the winter months. Altho, UA will have a small number of very cold days. And, UA did get a small bit of snow last winter…but it was gone by the afternoon…It was fun for the kids.

go for Clemson University, the weather isn’t bad at all, it’s actually quite nice in the fall now, only August and September will be really hot months.

Erin’s dad- I live in DC, and am NOT a fan of American ha. footballs something I definitely want at my future school

Mom2coll- I know i gotta think about it, It’ll be hard to part with my snow, and my hope of continuing ice skating like i could at some other schools that have teams and stuff haha

Pierre- I looked into applying there, but opted against it. haha what i had said above or meant, was that i enjoy the cold weather

I just noticed this but the University of Pittsburgh isn’t on your list

haha woops i forgot to write itm, Ive already started applying there

Oh…ice skating! fun! :)

Is this something you want to do as a sport or hobby? (I missed this before on your first post.)

Wow…which schools have skating teams?

haha well i skate as a sport and as a hobby, haha it’s okay people usually look at it as a hobby, but i’ve actually competed national & state wide and placed well… i would LOVE to continue in college if i could but i doubt ill get into a college that has it…

the colleges that I like that have it are…although some are synrco teams… (Syracuse, University of maryland, Penn State, Ohio State, Colorado, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota)
BUT i dont think i have any chances really… haha

where do you think i have a chance, even if it being a reach?

thank you So much! haha

Bump, Rump, haha where do i have a chance do you think?

forr realllz, haha I have no clue
