I am researching some colleges which offer pre-med majors, but after reading some online reviews about certain universities, I don't know if I'm overwhelmed or confused.

I am a B average student (high school) and I wanted you to point out some uni's which would 'match' me, I want the classes to be challenging and I am not much of a party person, I really want to work hard in college, so I want it to be a resourceful place to interact with other students and achieve high grades.
Personally I am a really hard worker when I want to be, however my school is really competitive and because of other things I didn't really achieve my best throughout high school, so that is why I am not necessarily looking for a place to which the students have a C average. Also, don't mention schools like top of the line because I have to get in first and it would practically be impossible.

I looked at Whittier College, Umass, MCPHS and some other universities, but they all have their pros and cons and I wanted your personal response/opinion for me.

I really appreciate it! Any help is greatly appreciated really.

There is not such thing as pre-med major. You can major in anything, Music, Language, Economics, engineering, Bio, Zoo, whatever your heart desires. “B” average in UG will not do for Med. School, need to aim higher, like 3.6+. Classes are very challenging everywhere, HYP, state, I am not aware of “easy” pre-med track at any UG. In addition, you will need to be engaged in Medically related and other EC’s and preferrably not take Med. School required classes in a summer. It is not walk in a park, but very doable with right attitude! Go to any school that feels comfi for you, do any major that you wish, but get high GPA and decent MCAT, engage in EC’s and you will be all set. I am not familiar with schools on your list. Good luck!

Hi MiamiDAP, I was only looking for some suggestions of schools, I am just saying that I really do have the right attitude that is why I know I can succeed doing pre-med and achieving high grades. I needed a few schools to which I would be accepted, and that would fit me into the enviroment of study around me, med school only comes after I get my bachelors. I already researched how to be successful in college and what not, but thanks anyways for the response ;)
