What are some good pre med undergraduate school my major being chemistry in the chicago, new york, or boston area??? My stats will most likely be 3.42 uw and 3.6 w gpa I started slow freshman year with 3.1 uw and 3.25 w so that hurt me, but have been working hard since. MY Ex's are Key Club 4 yrs (200hrs), hospital volunteer, track and field 3 yrs, football 2 yrs, tutor at local elementary school, John Hopkin Youth Search Award. I'm thinking about out of state if I do not get into my main choice PITT. Plan on taking SAT's with ACT junior year, next year. Thanks for feedback.

Kinda depends on them SAT scores and where your GPA ends up. Do you want people to point out the obvious and start throwing out names like Harvard, U Chicago, WUStL, Penn, Yale, etc…?

Some place that:

You can attend at low net cost (no or minimal debt), since medical school is expensive and chemistry majors do not have that great job and career prospects if you do not go to medical school.

Has pre-med course work that prepares you well for the MCAT.

Has a lot of grade inflation relative to the competitiveness of the students.

Has good accessibility of pre-med extracurriculars.

What can your family afford each year?

I’d add to ucb’s list: somewhere with good pre-med advising

Not the obvious but schools within my reach based on stats??? Also I can afford and money is NOT an issue.

Less money spent on undergraduate => more money to pay medical school costs => less debt after graduating from medical school.

"… money is NOT an issue."

If that is really the case then have your parents write a nice check, problem solved for undergrad.
