Assignment: Should we wait for good things to come, or is destiny not something we can wait for?

We do make our future. Humans are not conspired to determinism or fatalism that make us copies of an original sample. We come to this world in a challenge: either we succeed building our own destiny or we fall into the vagaries of time.
Hence, taking responsibility is critical to our cherished tomorrow. When a person wants to get a job, he or she cannot wait inactively for that destiny to fulfill his or her expectations, on the contrary, one has to work hard, equip himself with broad knowledge so he or she can compete confidently. We cannot rely completely on destiny, giving up our study or work; otherwise, we will be obsolete, ignorant, determined to failure in a world where completion is increasingly intensifying.
Moreover, reliance on destiny can limit ones ambition and thwart any possibility for amelioration. What would be the case of the black people today if they have not denounciated and solemnly rejected what was known as their destiny? If they were still waiting for destiny to come on its own and salvage them, they would have been still deprived of their rights, discriminated in their own land.
In conclusion, we can assert that nothing comes if a man will only wait, on the contrary, one must set his goals and work diligently to achieve them relying only on his own competence.
