I heard that UC's aren't open for spring transfers. Anybody know if I can get into a UC for the spring 2013 semester?

Not until the budget situation improves, which is not likely to happen by 2013.

California is on a sinking boat. don’t expect things to improve, seriously.

It won’t improve for a long time.

Merced’s the only one that does admissions other than Fall i think.

How about CSU’s? Particulary San Jose State University. Will they be open for transfers for Spring 2013?

Make me curious why a) you didn’t google b) what’s the point of spring transfer anyway…

Note, however, that SJSU’s spring transfer admissions is more competitive than fall transfer admissions:

Berkeley does have spring admission, but it is the school’s choice, rather than the applicant’s choice. Presumably, they do it to avoid having unused wasted capacity because spring enrollment would otherwise be less than fall enrollment.
