Discuss the writing section

nvm.......................

The English duel is not experimental and also the twenty minute one wiht animal pitches
I thought it was native = inborn, innate...
meh...
I think the correct choice was inborn. I remember the question now.

What did you guys put for the one in the Literature passage..

vocab-in-context for "clouded by anonymity" or something?
I put disguised.

also,
does anybody remember the vocab-in-context for the animal passage?

I think the question is 'shrouded in anonymity' ;I chose envelope
I can still remember this : 'cast in a different light' ,I chose the word whose meaning I did not know

oh, for the "cast" one, I think i put presented

I did not choose either present or direct.

if fascinatingly incorrect?
and theres like
i hope..... my friends would receive recogination form ohter historians
wuts worng with that sentnce

should be 'will receive'

yeah.......

HiLine,

What did you put for the lawyer one?
Something about "instead of relying on facts, the attorney relied on _______, questioning the witness' integrity" or along those lines?

I think choices were
innuendo
presumption
skepticism

I put presumption, because that is a contrast to "relying on facts"

Also, what about the one where they asked for the animal passage

"the last sentence of the last paragraph in context serves as a:

useful historical fact
instance of irony"

i put irony

its irony.. cuz homer is a well known autor and yet he mentions ppl who r illiterate
and i put presumpton but my friend said its innuendo

and for writing there is something about the task force
is task force a collective noun
or should it be followed by a plural verb

task force is singular

for that ques.......I changed my mind at the end...put down ironic instead of historical facts

Did anyone put import as mistake
and is there an ambiguous pronoun reference "thier" for writing

I wonder which one was experimental

i am pretty sure the answer is innuendo, there is a key word in the second half of the sentence,"veiled",it means the lawyer makes indirect attacks at the guy, which fits the definition of innuendo: "An indirect or subtle, usually derogatory implication in expression; an insinuation"

i got enveloped for the shrouded in mystery thing, coz shrouded means the entire thing is covered by mystery, and i feel only enveloped adequately expresses that feeling of entirety
