Thoughts on 2007 December SAT Reasoning

I think the math part is definitely more challenging than usual, and I think I did the calculation for one question right but I couldn't find an answer choice that matches my answer!

The vocabulary was okay; I couldn't believe I recognized every single word from the vocabulary part.

^
Oh my... same! The math was brutal! I fink I actually did pretty well on the writing section...

Was it the one with the three triangles and you had to find BC?

I was in the same situation, almost sure of my logic/calculations but none of the choices matched it.

OMG me too! Should I contact College Board immediately so I might get some bonus marks? Well actually the one u have to find the perimeter of that small one I think. I might phone CB on Monday...-.-... or maybe there IS an answer...

The right answer to the length BC triangle one was one of the choices. I'm pretty sure I got it right. I'm not sure if we're allowed to discuss it but if we are, the problem's still in my mind so I can explain to anybody who needs it.

Woah, the math was brutal? I thought it was okay. I thought nothing was really brutal...but I may have done something weird. Or maybe that's just because I'm in wayyy more advanced math, and think it's commonplace by now.

Anyway...IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^_^ CONGRATS EVERYBODY!!! <3

You can discuss the question, what was it?

What? The length BC? I thought it's the perimeter of the small triangle inside?

the length of BC: It was an equilateral triangle inside a bigger trianle, and the bottom lengths were all 10 10 10, so use the 30-60-90 triangle and you get the answer to be the SQUARE ROOT of 300.

math was so easy. :] I finished early for every section.

10square root 3
was the answer.

Hmmm... I think your question is different from ours. I got a similar one but this time each side is 6 and the ratio or something something is 3 to 1 and something. It was so confusing, and I don't think ours was asking for length of BC. And we don't have the answer choice you got. lol...O.o...

I am almost certain that the question I got was written wrong.

I skipped two qustions on the math portion T___T, so long for my 800.

The parabola question was confusing. does anyone remember it? It had somethign to do with P and K and a point was given that looks like it had the same y value with p so i just assumed the p was that y value T___T idk if i did it correctly

^^The answer was 4.
Look in the SAT forum and the Math thread has already answered all of these questions.

Woah, yeah, we do have different questions. I don't remember the smaller-bigger triangle one AT ALL.

The SAT this time was awesome! I thought the Math was pretty easy, I don't know why people think it was brutal. I am really happy because the Reading Comprehension was nearly a breeze for me. I can't wait to receive the scores.

wat do u think a 9 essay and 1 mc wrong, 3 wrong in CR, and 1 omit and 2 wrong in math is

Bah, I thought Math was extremely easy but CR was pretty hard for me. I left around 4 blank for JUST vocab!

@miler417
Writing = 760-780
CR = 770-790
Math = 740-760

I think I forgot to shade in my answers for a few questions so the whole order's jumbled up. I'm not sure because I only noticed it for one section and thank god I had time to change it in time but I'm really worried that I shaded my answers wrongly for the others too. I'm considering cancelling my scores. I'm so wrecked right now, it would suck sooooooooooo much if I did it for other sections, :( I think it was because I really needed to pee in the middle of it!

^ Oh my god me too. I drank so much water cause I was really really nervous!
