I am a rising junior and I would like to cancel some of my AP scores. If it's not possible to permanately erase them now, I would like to "cover them" so that colleges won't see them. Do all high schools allow you to pick which AP scores to send or only some?

Thanks!

The reports are cumulative so if you have 2 as a sophomore, 4 as a junior and 5 as a senior, the colleges will see all 11 scores. The only way to CANCEL is to do so BEFORE the AP score is issued. If colleges do not require or ask for APs, you could avoid reporting a bad score. Check the college board website for additional info.

^I thought that you could choose which scores to send to colleges?

No, an AP Exam score can be cancelled at any time.

No college requires or asks for AP exam scores. However, they will expect a score if you took an AP class.

^AP Physics B matters too in this situation?

Edit: How can you cancel them?

You could to use this form http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/ap-score-cancellation-form.pdf then send in.
I think AP # changes from year to year, so from the AP # they know what year you are talking about.
And yes, you can cancel at anytime and it does remove your score permanently (contrary to what OP says). Canceling scores before June 15 would be if you do not want to have that score on your and your school’s score reports. Though the scores would be indicated as canceled. (I do not know if it only indicate so on the year the exam was taken or on all years you ever take APs.) Colleges’ score report would NOT have any record of it whether you cancel before or after June 15.

^If you cancel a 2010 exam score after June 15, 2010, the exam score would appear on the 2010 report but would not appear on any subsequent reports.
