Candidate Fitness Assessment

Hello all,
I am a high school senior planning to take the CFA for the first time in two days and I was wondering if my scores will be sufficient. I am definitely not planning on getting into the academies because of athletics, I have a 2100 SAT and am in the top 8% in my private high school. So far, I have attempted all but the shuttle run (I do things like this all the time, so it shouldn't be a problem), but I am afraid my pullups and pushups will be a significant hindrance. By the way, I am 6'4, 210 pounds and consider myself stronger in the lower body than the upper body. And if I don't do well, can I retest?

BB Throw: 70-75 feet
Pullups: 7
Shuttle Run: ?
Pushups: 45-50
Sit Ups: 85-90
Mile Run: 6:40-6:50

as long as you pass, you should be fine. i think the passing score for pull ups is 3 this year lol.
also, it’s only 10 % of your application. In addition to your stats, if you play sports and have leadership, you should be golden.

If you are not planning on a service academy, ie ROTC, you only need a pda score which is 1 mile run situps and pushups for army

ohh. my bad, i thought u were applying to service academies.
i misread it.

No, I am applying to the service academies, the CFA is for the service academies. I believe it is called the PFT for ROTC

Hmm, this is interesting, I just finished something which is comparable to junior ROTC here in Thailand. What is the time limit for these running/push up/sit up tests?

By limit do you mean minimum or maximum?

Maximum I mean, and also the time that’s considered a good score?
