Hey guys,

I'm international student from Asia. My writing sucks. I just can't connect words..That's why i got my toefl ibt 77.. But my SAT was ok( math-730, CR-340) . My Gpa 4.0. I have all A's.

I want to study BS computer science. When i started to search for colleges which will accept with lower toefl , i found college's which I'm not interested... Can you advice me some good colleges ?

Andother thing.. I'm 21 years old. I graduated from my high school at 2011 , then i was traveling around the world. Am i too old for undegraduadate? Will i feel awkward at college?

Thank you.

Oh wow…that is probably the lowest SAT reading score I ever saw since I joined the website.

Though I am glad you have straight As in your classes. SAT is at least fixable.

Before anything, do you have money to attend?

Honestly, you’ll have a hard time getting into a selective (“good”) university with those TOEFL and SAT scores. They raise too much doubt about your ability to function in an English classroom. You may consider the following options.

Retake your tests. If you have a documented learning disability, you may qualify for accomodations. (e.g. additional time, more frequent breaks, an audio recording of the exam in addition to the written text, or a keyboard to type instead of handwriting your essay)

Start at a university with an ESOL program. You’d enroll in a full-time English language course first and then graduate to regular student status once you reach a certain level of fluency in English.

Start at a community college and later transfer to a 4-year university. If you do well at the community college, chances are high that you’d be able to transfer to a good university (e.g. the public flagship university in that state).

You also can try a test score optional school. But I think you will have a hard time either being admitted or attending. English is the issue.
