I'm international student from Asia. My writing sucks. I just can't connect words..That's why i got my toefl ibt 77.. But my SAT was ok( math-730, CR-340) . My Gpa 4.0. I have all A's.

I want to study BS computer science. When i started to search for colleges which will accept with lower toefl , i found college's which I'm not interested... Can you advice me some good colleges ?

Andother thing.. I'm 21 years old. I graduated from my high school at 2011 , then i was traveling around the world. Am i too old for undegraduadate? Will i feel awkward at college?

It doesn’t much matter where you get a computer science degree. Almost any of the schools listed that accepted a 77 or higher would be OK.

The best known schools (at least to me) on the list that would accept your toefl score would include

Arizona State
Colorado State
Iowa State
Miami University - Oxford (My sister went there. It’s in Ohio, not Florida.)
Mississippi State
Ohio State
Oregon State
Purdue
Alabama
University of California - Berkeley
University of California - Davis
University of Cincinnati
University of Hawaii
University of Kentucky
University of Missouri
University of Nebraska - Lincoln
University of Nevada - Las Vegas
University of Oregon
University of Utah
University of Washington
Washington State

My wife is from Taiwan and had to take the toefl. I don’t know what her score was, but she got into the University of San Francisco and said she could barely understand anyone when she got here. It seems like your English is better than hers was.

However, in order to study at an American college, you need to have decent reading and writing skills. A CR 340 (what was your writing score) is going to mean pure torture for you when you have 30 or 40 pages of reading per class.
You need to READ a lot in English - books, magazines, online and physical (paper/ebooks). Computer Science will require English, History, Arts… courses. If you attend an ABET accredited program you’ll even have 1/4th of your classes in these subjects.
Prepare seriously and retake the TOEFL, but also the SAT, as that CR score is likely to bar you from many colleges.

Well done Autumn. Try to retake your TOEFL and aim for at least a 90, but preferably a 100. Simba recommended some great schools. I would add:

Carnegie Mellon University
Georgia Institute of Technology (if you do not mind being in school that is 70% male)
University of California-Los Angeles
University of California-San Diego
University of California-Santa Barbara
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Wisconsin-Madison

CONGrATULATIONS, going from 340 to 520 is awesome (and not easy)!!!
With 520 you should be able to proceed with most schools Simba recommended, and if you retake the TOEFL you should see your score shoot up too, providing you with better opportunities.
Well done!
