Hello, all. This is my first post, so please be lenient with criticisms.

I am considering majoring in Physics at SBU. Now, I love physics and find the subject extremely interesting. I try not to decide my major too strongly based off of pay, but I have heard a lot of doom and gloom when it comes to Physics majors actually ending up in Physics-related careers. Personally, I'd love to work at somewhere like NASA, SpaceX, the BNL, Boeing, etc. Would I actually have good chances of working at any of these places with a degree in physics(I'd probably get a M.S.)? If not, i was considering aerospace engineering at another university.

Can anybody give me any insight, whether agreeing or disagreeing with what I have heard?
