Hi all! I’m trying to figure out how to word this without it sounding like a massive brag, but basically I finally got my acceptance packet from Carleton today and inside the folder was a small card with a personal hand-written note about my essay! I was so surprised and it made me feel really great, so hats off the the admissions team for that.
Basically, I’m wondering if this was something everyone received? I know they put an incredible amount of work into admissions, but handwriting a custom note to 500+ people is insane (I saw this as someone who did that very thing for my bat mitzvah!)
Makes me feel a bit left out
