<p>Did any of you recieve a letter from Columbia about the April visit? Did it include a hand-written note about you and your application?</p>
<p>Yeah, from the regional admissions officer--actually, it was fun, because half of it was in French, but I don't puch much thought/value into these things. I mean, yes, it's nice, but most of the colleges I applied to sent home personalized letters/cards/notes, etc. They're all trying to make you feel wonderful and special so that you matriculate--it is yield month, after all.</p>
<p>That said, it is a pretty nice gesture, even though Columbia really doesn't have to do much to convince me to come. :)</p>

<p>I got a handwritten card from a student, but it was sort of random and didn't say anything about the April visiting days...</p>
