Carroll School Question

I understand that their is a lot that goes into an app, but does having a 36 math subscore from 35 composite ACT boost chances at all for CSOM?

no more than having a 35/34 does… :)

Once you meet a certain threshold (perhaps 32 at BC), test scores no longer matter. The adcom knows with certainty that you can do the work. Then it is on to the other aspects of the app. A really nice score is a ‘nice-to-have’ but won’t get you admitted in and by itself, and definitely won’t make up for a sub-par transcript.

btw: That is true at all selective colleges.
