I had an alumni interview which went really well and did the optional p.217 essay... Not a legacy, not applying for financial aid.

-2008 Academic All-American, Field Hockey

Is that the nationwide team?
If it is I say you are probably in. If not it is going to be a reach.

ya it is. but it’s academic all-american, so only students with a 3.5 gpa or higher are considered (so not as impressive athletically as regular all-american). I’m not trying to play varsity fh in college.

Hard to say. Your science ACT score is a bit low. Do you know what your class’s mean GPA is? You have a good chance, I would say, not “in” or “out,” but somewhere in the middle.

I wouldn’t worry about your science ACT score I’m pretty sure I got a 24 on that and still got in…they care more about the overall score and yours is fine

thanks, good to know about the science… I took it again in october, so hopefully I did a little better in that section.

as for mean gpa, I’m not sure, but I’d say I’m atleast in the top 20%. I know that only one student has a 4.0
