<p>One other point - there are many students who get into very selective colleges who do not have well-balanced lives. These are many students with mental health problems, drug and alcohol problems, lack of social skills, etc. </p>
<p>In the end, success in life can be measured in many different ways, and sometimes the people with the highest scores do not have the skills to be successful in life. That includes being able to relate to many different types of people.</p>
