<p>My future frosh is in need of a new phone -- and don't want to lock her into a contract if Verizon has lousy coverage in Granville. Help from current students/parents with picking a carrier would be appreciated. Thanks!</p>
<p>DD1 uses Verizon. We’ve had no problems. She does not have a phone that requires data access. Just basic phone and texting (which she definitely uses!).</p>

<p>Ditto. Have had not a single problem w/ reception using Verizon. The only thing to disapprove is the gouging bill.</p>

<p>Our D had ATT her first year. This year she’s on a plan with VirginMobile. They use Sprint lines/service, so I don’t know if that’s an indicator, but she hasn’t had any problems.</p>
<p>D uses Sprint. Mostly text and data - do they actually “talk” to anyone but their parents? She has never had any complaints - which says a lot ; )</p>
