Chance a guy in interesting position

Hey guys, I'm from Auburn, Alabama and am currently applying to Columbia ED. I'm in the unique position in that I've actually went through high school here in the States while my parents have worked in China for the past 4 years. Would anyone care to give feedback on what this could mean for my college admissions and my chances for Columbia and other comparative schools?

Thanks!

Well, your stats look really great, and you have a lot of leadership positions and some valuable awards. Of course, Columbia is among the most competitive schools, so it’s a reach for everyone who’s not a legacy student or a recruited athlete. That being said, I think your app is about as strong as it gets, and ED should help your chances as well. As for your family situation, that by itself won’t account for much, but you can definitely write an amazing and unusual essay about it that can make your app stand out a little more.
By the way, what do you mean you are “currently applying to Columbia ED”? Wasn’t the deadline at the beginning of November?

Sorry yes, I applied already in early November, thanks for the feedback though!
