I'm actually not doing ED to any particular school... although the popular belief is that it improves chances, my heart isn't really set on one school over another, so I don't think it would help me personally. I guess my question is, is ED absolutely necessary for entrance to my reach colleges (based on my stats)?

Rank: School doesn't rank, but if i had to guess, i'd be within the top 5-10%

AP Classes (my school only offers 3-4 a year)
AP Calc AB: 5
AP Lang: 5
AP Physics: 5
Currently taking: AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP Literature

All other courses have been honors with the exception of foreign language

Extracurricular Activities:
Debate (10-12)- started school's debate team, captain, novice coach. qualified for nationals, states, and regularly compete in national tournaments on my own
Violin (9-12)- participate in regional orchestra, 1st violin and chosen for a selected chamber orchestra. Also have been taking lessons since 4
Yearbook (11-12)- editor in chief

I don't have many extracurricular activities, but I am deeply committed to each of them

Standard community service... nothing special at all.

Based on this, will I be ok if I apply to these schools RD instead of ED? Any advice would be appreciated.
