<p>I really want to get in somewhere EA.
Do I have a chance at Yale or should I try for a less competitive school?</p>

<p>I'll be honest with you: that's a terrible GPA. That, combined with a lack of any mitigating factors, makes your chance of acceptance SCEA slim to none. </p>

<p>Having said that, you very well may be deferred and accepted regular round. I suspect you will be deferred/rejected (maybe) SCEA, then probably rejected RD. </p>

<p>Your race is going to help you, and it may be your saving grace in the RD round. If they need more Mexicans, you may be in luck!</p>
