Chance a usc student looking to transfer to northwestern for junior year!

<p>Currently im studying at usc's marshall school of business with a 3.4 gpa and nothing special in terms of extra-curriculars. my high school gpa was a 3.1 and my sat score was 2200. im looking to pull my college gpa up to a 3.6 by the end of next semester and a 3.7 by the end of sophomore year.</p>

<p>please tell me what are my chances of transferring into northwestern's college of arts and sciences either for spring semester of sophomore year or for fall semester junior year. also, which semester would you recommend I apply for transfer to, and if I fail the first time, can I try again?</p>

Forgive-but I am having a hard time extrapolating your timeline. Did you just finish your undergraduate freshman year, or the first semester of your freshman year??
My sense is if you apply as a transfer, then consider your application a reach. I may be incorrect in that assessment, and only if you apply will you know the “true” answer.
