I'm currently a freshman at hunter college in NYC.
I was a terrible high school student (2.25 GPA) with 1900 SATs(1310 CR+M)

However, things have been looking up in college. I took two summer classes before school started and i got an A in both. I'm taking 15 credits this semester with a 300 level class mixed in with 100 level classes. Through the first 3 weeks of college, I've had no problems at all, and i expect an A. Maybe its the polluted NYC air, but I feel like a different person than I was in high school.

I also plan to take a winter course for 3 credits

So assuming a get a 4.0(or close -so room for one A-)

Major E.Cs
- I intern 25 hours a week at Jive/RCA records(subsidiary of Sony Records)(5 credits)
- I gave a commencement speech at my high school graduation. (I go to a national top 100 high school and because we don't weight grades, we don't have a valedictorian. So instead we do a speech contest which I won.)

I know that the essay is a big intangible that's difficult to put a number on, but I think I got that down.

So through 29 credits (15+9 (earned in the summer/winter)+ 5 (from the internship))
and relatively straight As

chance me for the following schools-
-nyu(cas)
-cornell(cas)
-suny binghamton
-rutgers
-columbia
-brown
-fordham
-villanova

haha I realize that I could easily get rejected from all of these schools, but I think it's worth the price of an application lol.

What do you guys think? :)
