Chance - AA Female

I've been reading this board for weeks and finally decided to post my question...What are my daughter's chances for getting accepted to Washu? She applied regular decision and we visited the campus and she had an interview in October 2008. Here are her stats:

URM
ACT 29 (31 Superscore)
GPA 3.8 (3.85 weighted)
AP Bio
AP Psychology
College credit - Western Civ II
College credit - English 110
National Honor Society
Teenage Health Mentor
High School Gay/Straight Alliance - founding member
Youth Sunday School Teacher
Youth Wednesday night bible study teacher
National Achievement Commended
Missouri Scholar (Missouri Governor's school)
Speaks Spanish and has studied for two years learning to speak Mandarin.
She wants to get her undergrad in a foreign language (probably Chinese language) and eventually become a doctor.
She's also a self-taught artist (her specialty is anime, but she can draw anything) and writes short stories.

I think the only thing that is a bit low is her standardized testing. However, I interviewed with WashU last weekend and they said that increasingly, test scores are becoming less important in the admissions process, as many of the admissions officers do not find them to be an actual reflection of the success of a student.

Thanks for your response saxophonegirl

The drawing thing is not an advantage unless she submits a relatively good portfolio (colleges usually do not want to see anime in student's portfolio) and can be even more helpful even she is an intended art major or is applying to their art/ architecture schools.could use more Ap's and a heigher score, but her GPA is good and her URM status certainly help.

I think she looks like a solid, but unremarkable, applicant, with the ACT being on the weak side, a less-than-ideal number of AP courses and ECs that are only "okay." She might get in, but I think you need to manage expectations in case she doesn't.
Good luck to her.
