Hi, I'm looking at these colleges:

Emerson
U of Michigan
Duke (legacy)
University of Chicago
Columbia College
BC

Tulane
U of Miami
Community College

GPA: 3.46 UW, 3.98 Weighted at acclaimed high school (in top 100 in country)

EC:

Regional student journalist (Several reviews were published in local media outlets).
(will have) 4 years drama club/shows(Most likely will have leadership position next year)

I also have a few film awards and writing awards throughout local competitions, but nothing too glitzy.

Those are my most dedicated ones., though I have more.

I'm thinking of majoring in Journalism/Broadcast journalism and maybe minoring or double majoring in film production/media

I know some of them are out my reach, but... chance me?

LOL, you can’t expect an answer in 30 minutes for a post like that.

There is no hurry regarding your chances. It makes more sense to come back and ask after you have taken your first SAT and/or ACT. Chancing is a nice exercise to let someone know if they are aiming too high or too low, but it becomes fairly useless when important data points are not yet available.

But since it is a harmless thing at this point, here you go. Just remember that it will be more meaningful after your junior year is over and you have your test scores.

University of Toronto - don’t know
NYU - moderate reach
BU (sibling currently attends) -low reach to match because of sibling
Elon - low match
UMD - college park (legacy + my state) - match
Emerson - don’t know
U of Michigan - high reach
Duke (legacy) - very high reach
University of Chicago - very high reach
Columbia College - There are several. Which do you mean?
BC -very high reach
Tufts - very high reach
Tulane - reach
U of Miami - low reach
Community College - no problem

I think you have your sights set a bit high in many cases for your GPA and test score (assuming it comes out close to your PSAT). You have only an extremely small chance at Michigan, Duke, Chicago, BC and Tufts, and only somewhat better at a couple of the others.

Why do I say this? Let’s look at Chicago for example. The average admitted student there has something like a 3.8 UW GPA and 2180 SAT, so you can see you are well short of these stats. Duke and the others are similar, and Michigan has high stats and you are OOS, so that makes it tough.

A final point is that while it is normal to dream about schools like that, you also have to realize that the students there are incredibly smart and driven in most cases. You might find yourself out of your comfort zone at schools like that, and that can be very tough to deal with. That is why there are a range of perfectly good schools that will match you better.

Good luck!
