Chance for Brown + other top schools?

(I posted before but updated a few details)
Brown is my dream school and I know that these chance threads don't mean a whole lot but I'd love to year if I have a chance or not from someone other than my mom, haha.

SAT: 2210 highest single sitting (retook in June, might retake in fall)
SAT2: 790 USH (also 680 Math 2, but will retake. Also taking french, lit, and probably physics in the fall.)

GPA (weighted): 4.71 (unweighted): 4.0
Rank: 3/~240
School: medium-sized public school in Massachusetts, sends a few kids to Ivies every year

Gender: female
Race: white as can be
Income Bracket: applying for financial aid
no hooks to speak of

complicated family situation- father was an alcoholic, had a severe brain injury when I was 10. He is unable to live on his own and our family lost most of its savings keeping him in a home where he would be well cared for- they don't cover that under health insurance. Lived nearly my whole life with a single mom struggling to keep our lives stable on social security and a job that was the best she could get. I plan on having my guidance counselor write about this, she cried a little bit when I told her how all I wanted in life was to make him proud, or just get him to remember my name. That should be a decent write-up.

Essay: I have a few written out that I plan on tweaking, all have received high praise from my guidance counselor and AP English teacher. Writing is one of my stronger points.

Recs: one will be from AP English teacher (loves me+my writing), one will be from AP Calculus teacher (I spent lots of time after school in her room, so she can attest to me being a hard worker).

APs: Calculus AB, USH, English Lang (no scores yet but based on practice tests they should be 4s or 5s)

Schedule:
-Freshman year: Chorus (honors group-audition only)- A+, Alg II H- A, Bio H- A, English 9-A, World History H- A+, French 2 H- A, Wellness (required)- A
-Sophomore year: Chorus (honors group- audition only)- A+, Geometry H- A+, Chem H- A+, US History I H- A, French 3 H- A+, English 10 H- A+, Wellness (required)- A
-Junior year: Chorus (same group haha)- A+, Physics H- A-, French 4 H- A+, AP English Lang- A, APUSH- A-, AP Calculus AB- A+, online astronomy class through Virtual High School
-Senior Year: Chorus (same group), AP English Lit, AP French, AP Physics C- Mechanics, AP Calculus BC, AP Econ (macro+micro)
**my school only offers APs to juniors and seniors but I have consistently taken the most rigorous schedule available and I'm hoping that colleges recognize that. I also hope my taking an online class will show that I'm ready for the open curriculum at Brown.

Community Service: 300+ hours total, 200 from volunteering at local science museum, others from service club I started, teaching children from low-income areas about money @ local banks, Freshman Orientation leadership position, volunteering at fundraisers for my dad's house, various other places around the community

Work Experience: internship at local science museum this summer- I will be developing a new exhibit for the children's area.

Extracurriculars:

-I started a club at my high school that works through a local charity to throw birthday parties for homeless children. I plan on emphasizing this a lot on college apps as it means a lot to me (founder, co-president, 10, 11)
-SADD (treasurer, 10, 11)
-Gay-Straight Alliance (publicist, 9, 10)
-Freshman Orientation Leader (10, 11)
-Drama Club (acting, set design, a few principal roles, 9, 10, 11. President next year)
-Chemistry Club (10)
-French Club (9,10,11)
-Calculus Club (11)
-STEM Pathway (puts together science-related events at my school, founding member, 11)
-Model United Nations (founding member, attended Harvard MUN 2012 + 2013, 10, 11)
-National Honors Society (not officially admitted yet, but told by advisors that I will be. I'm also planning on running for VP.)
-I have been playing guitar for 5 years and writing my own songs but I don't plan on sending in anything about my music so I probably won't include this.

**I will be continuing these extracurriculars next year, except for Chem club because the advisor left and GSA because I had too many conflicts to make the meetings.

Awards: National recognition for score on National French Exam (9, 10, 11) (highest score in my school each year as well), various local awards. I got the Brown Book Award at my school and have written the alumnus who donated it... I haven't the faintest idea if that helps, but I guess it can't hurt.

I'm also applying (and would like chances for) these schools:
Harvard
UChicago
Columbia
Northwestern
Tufts
NYU
Boston University
Northeastern
UMASS Amherst

Thanks so much for your input! And if you can think of any other schools I should consider or things that would help my application, I'd love to hear it!

You have amazing stats! I think you’ll get in, your story is amazing. Did you see the 2013-2014 common app essays yet? I think the first option would be a perfect way to talk about your family situation. It’s really humbling to see someone who did so well with such a difficult background, good job! Are you applying to Brown ED? I think that would also increase your chances.

I was only planning to apply to my safeties early action because I’ve heard that the ED pool for Brown is so competitive that I’d be more likely to get in RD and I’d also like to be sure that I get enough FA but if you think it’ll help then I might. Thank you so much for your input!

any other thoughts: ED versus RD?

Well I’ve heard that typically ED is slightly more advantageous. If you need to compare FA then don’t do it. Also, if you are prone to changing your mind, don’t do it either. (That’s me haha)
You’ve got really great stats and a story. Like the above said, make yourself known through the essays. If all goes well, I think you’ll have a great chance! Probably a high match/low reach

I’m going to tour this summer, so if it really is my top choice after I’ve visited all the other schools I’m applying to then maybe I will apply ED. I know Brown meets full need and I’m in a low enough income bracket that that would cover just about all tuition, I believe. So FA might not be a huge deal, if you really think it will help to apply ED. I definitely want the best chance possible.

What about my other schools, how are my chances looking there?

You’d get into Brown ED, in my opinion. If Brown is you’re top school, I’d recommend applying Early

To be honest, you have very good stats and the key is your story. You will by no doubt get accepted to any if not all of these colleges. I would say Northwestern, Umass, uchicago, northeastern, Tufts and BU are very high matches. You definitely have a strong shot at Harvard, Brown, and Columbia. Good Job!!

Hey, I know that you already have chanced me but how are my chances at emory? I really want to go there.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1514270-chance-me-please.html

Thank you for all your input! I really appreciate it!

@bobjohnson I don’t know a whole lot about Emory but I’ll do my best

Thank you!
Oh also my school has like a 22% acceptance rate to Brown which is higher than it’s overall acceptance rate… do you think this will help?

Bump… can anyone think of anything I could add to my application to make it stand out even more?
