I am currently a senior, have been in Canada for 2 years and in the US for 3 years.
So this is my 6th year studying abroad.
However, I need your help!!
I am thinking about majoring in visual arts (photography) and applying Columbia ED. Or Cornell.. Not sure yet;;
Anyways, here's my stat:
SAT 1910
ACT taking it in October
SATII also taking in October - Math2C and Chem
GPA 3.6, WGPA 3.7
Portfolio - decent
Extracurricular activities:
Math Tutor club - 10, 11, 12 (community service hours)
Red Cross Club - 11, 12 - president
Photo Voice Project - 9, 10, 11, 12 taking pictures, gallery, activity that I liked the most
World Cultures Club - 9, 10, 11, 12 - president
BICK (Basic Introduction to Culture of Korea) Club - 12 I created it - president
World Languages Club - 11, 12 - president
Leadership:
Ambassador
Proctor - leadership in the dorms
Sports:
JV Soccer Team - 10
Varsity Cross Country Team - 11
Varsity Ski Team - 10, 11, 12
Essay: writing about how I had to stop soccer and running due to the ankle problem
Recommendation:
One from the Photo Voice Project teacher and another from JV Soccer Team and Varsity Cross Country Team coach (also residential director)
I think this is it? LOL
I know it would be hard for me to get in,
but is there any chance?
Or is it just impossible? LOL</p>

<p>Very little chance for Columbia and Cornell CAS, maybe less selective schools at Cornell if you raise scores.</p>
